There are more people in slavery right now than during the 350 years of transatlantic slave trade.

According the the U.N. International Labor Organization, 25 million people are taken into debt bondage ever year. It’s one of the world’s most lucrative criminal enterprises. It’s estimated that this at $150B a year industry.

“Modern Slavery is far and away more profitable now than at any point in human history.” says Siddath Kara, an economist at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. What can you do about this?
